I remember a day back in 1993. It was a sunny afternoon and I was feeling dapper after getting a nice bowl cut from the barber. I decided to go out and rollerblade around the town, so I put the Spin Doctors in my Walkman and started cruising. It seemed like everybody else had the same idea. People were everywhere enjoying the beautiful day. A group of guys with plaid shirts tied around their waist were kicking the hacky sack while talking about the genius of grunge music. I rode by a little girl playing Skip-It while her father in a leather 8-ball jacket read a newspaper. The cover had an article talking about the impending retirement of Michael Jordan. I continued my ride for a little longer but made sure to make it home in time to catch the series finale of Cheers.

The 90's were a happenin' time. The comedy team known as Dr. Coolsex appreciates this period of time as much as I do. Their comedy captures some of the greatest characters who had their heyday in that decade.

Shortly after starting an improv group in New York City, Dr. Coolsex began making sketches for the world wide web in 2007. They soon began a following with sketches that range from satire of pop-culture in television and movies, to real-life renditions of classic cartoons and video games from the 90's.
